What is the difference between web design
and web development?
In simple terms, web design is concerned with the layout and look of
a web site, or the part that you see on your computer screen. Web development
usually refers to not only web design, but also database development,
proprietary programming and other "back-end" items.
Do you offer web development?
Yes and no. We currently do not offer database development or proprietary
programming and scripting. However, we can install pre-made cgi scripts
that can do a variety of things to make your site interactive, such
as online polls, bulletin boards and forums, site search engines, and
form processing.
What kinds of web designs can you do?
Our designers can create most any kind of design, from a whimsical personal
site to a professional business site. For examples, please visit our

How do you determine the layout and overall
design?
We ask you to help us out. We'll ask you to send us the URLs of a couple
sites that you especially like and to pick the colors you like. We will
make recommendations based on your selections, but your selections help
us to determine what you like and give us a starting point for the initial
design of your site.
Can I send you photos to use on my site?
By all means. You can either scan them yourself, and e-mail us the original
scans, or you can send us the actual photographs and we'll scan them
for you. Of course, if we scan the photos, we will send them back to
you.
Will you take pictures of my business and
store front?
Currently we will only do so if you live in the Las Vegas Valley. You
will also be responsible for paying for film and processing, but we
will give you the pictures and negatives upon completion of the project
and final payment.
Can you create custom graphics for my site?
Yes, we can create custom graphics and logos for your site. We have
several graphics programs at our disposal with which to create them.
We also have a large supply of clip art that we can incorporate into
your custom logo and graphics. Finally, we have access to a large library
of stock and custom photos and graphics.
Can you add sound to my site?
We have a library of approximately 6000 sound effects that we can use
to enhance your site aurally. However, we will not add copyrighted music
to your site, unless you can get the rights to reproduce the music.
Can you add Flash to my site?
Currently, we do not have the capabilities to add Flash to web sites,
although we expect to be able to offer Flash capabilities in the near
future. However, we must point out that Flash can hinder your site's
ability to be indexed in the search engines and found by people who
use them to search for web sites like yours.
Your prices for custom web design are too
expensive for me. Do you have any alternatives?
Yes, we currently offer pre-made web page templates for free or for
sale. Check our web page templates section
for more information.
How much do your web design services cost?
Our web design services start at $400. At that price, you will receive
a page template with mouseover navigation and a custom logo, but you
will be responsible for adding the content and other graphics and information.
Your cost will increase if you want us to do more than that. For detailed
information and pricing of our web design services, please visit our

Additionally, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit prior to beginning
the project. The final 50% is due upon project completion. For design
projects over $1500, we will set up a payment schedule and reduce the
up-front deposit.
Do you offer a guarantee for your web design
services?
Yes, we offer 100% satisfaction for all our web design services. If
you're not happy, we'll keep at it until you are.
How long will it take for you to complete
my web site?
It really depends on how much is involved and how many pages need to
be built. However, for most web sites we estimate that it will take
two weeks or less, barring delays in materials and content acquisition
and approvals from you.
Will I be able to see my web site as you
work on it?
Yes. We have a special area set up on our server where we will upload
various parts of your site as they are completed for you to review and
approve.
Do you have an update and maintenance service?
Yes, we offer web site updates and maintenance services with a unique
pricing structure. Many design studios charge you a minimum monthly
charge for updates and maintenance whether you need updates or maintenance
or not. We're different. You only pay when you need those services and
only for the time it takes us to accomplish your site updates or maintenance.
